Since the beginning of my childhood, I have found facts and figures very much intriguing. I used to note down all the interesting facts which my parents told me, in my notebook, and I kept it as my little treasure. And there is still, very much to know about this world, as it waits to astonish us with the amazing facts it holds.

So, let’s talk about the world’s longest, largest, shortest and the smallest facts that you may find cool and interesting:

1). Longest Whale- The Blue Whale

Blue whales are the largest animal ever known to have lived, even larger than the dinosaurs who once roamed the Earth. In fact, the longest blue whale ever measured was 111 feet long — approximately the length of three school buses parked end to end!

2). Largest Burger- Mallie’s Sports Grill & Bar

This 1,794 pound cheeseburger is the world’s largest commercially sold burger till date. Mallie’s Sports Grill & Bar in Detroit took four years to plan how to cook and execute the beefy monstrosity. And it’s actually on the menu. And the price of this burger is $8,000. Wanna grab a bite?

3). Shortest Man Living- Khagendra Thapa Magar

The shortest living man is Khagendra Thapa Magar (Nepal, b. 14 October 1992), who measures 67.08 cm (2 ft 2.41 in) tall as verified at Fewa City Hospital in Pokhara, Nepal, on 14 October 2010. Point to be noted here, the shortest man in the world ever lived is Chandra Bahadur Dangi, but the shortest man alive is Khagendra Thapa Magar only.

4). Smallest City- Vatican City

The smallest city in the world by area is Vatican City with an area of 44 hectares (108.7 acre). It is a landlocked sovereign city state whose territory consists of a walled enclave within the city of Rome. It is officially called State of the Vatican City. 

5). Longest Movie Title- NOTDOT

Night of the Day of the Dawn of the Son of the Bride of the Return of the Revenge of the Terror of the Attack of the Evil, Mutant, Alien, Flesh Eating, Hellbound, Zombified Living Dead is the longest movie title of a series of parody films written by James Riffel as spoofs adding his own scripts on already known films and television footage after deleting the original scripts from the films. It is abbreviated as NOTDOT and has five parts. I think it will take some time for me to remember the name of the movie.

6). Largest Starbucks- Shanghai

The Shanghai location is the world’s largest Starbucks. As part of the Starbucks company’s aggressive expansion in China, the Seattle-based coffee retailer opened its largest store in the world: a nearly 30,000-square-foot compound that does much more than simply serve coffee.. It includes three coffee bars, one of which clocks in at 88 feet long — the chain’s longest to date. A two-story, 40-ton copper cask towers over the store, refilling the coffee bars’ various silos.

7). Shortest War- Anglo-Zanzibar War

The Anglo-Zanzibar War was a military conflict fought between the United Kingdom and the Zanzibar Sultanate on 27 August 1896. The conflict lasted between 38 and 45 minutes, marking it as the shortest recorded war in history.

8). Smallest Working Revolver- Swiss Mini Gun

According to Guinness World Records, the title of the smallest working revolver in the world goes to the Miniature Revolver C1ST, manufactured by Swiss Mini Gun. The tiny firearm measures just more than 2 inches and weighs less than 1 ounce. The Swiss Mini Gun is no bigger than a key but is capable of firing tiny bullets at over 270 mph. That’s more than enough to kill at close range.
