It is rather difficult to understand the complexities of a human nature in this era where technology has its greater hold more than ever. I have been living in the Indian capital for more than over a year now and still trying to decode this, as I am watching people living two lives – one in the social platforms and the other they normally tend to live. Why trying to live the life of James McAvoy of movie Split, people? Although he could not control his 23 personalities and at last gave birth to personality of a Beast, but you can still control and stop that beast to evolve out of you! Please don’t be what the society wants you to be either. Just be yourself and society will manage to keep the pace up on their own.
The main question what you should ask yourself every day after waking up in the morning and before going to sleep every night should be “WHAT DO I WANT?” Do you want to make a better man/woman out of yourself or be a fake-puppet and be insecure of all the actions you do, overthinking how it might reflect your image in front of others and achieve nothing?
Please note here that if you want to be extraordinary, you have to be “extra” from the other ordinaries, right? Don’t try to copy others in every aspect of your life. That would not make you happy. Be original. As it is rightly said, “It is better to fail in originality than to succeed in imitation.”
This are some of the few things that I want for my not-fake-life:
I want to be rightful to my job
Whatever I do, I want to put my heart and soul into it. I want to be faithful to what I work for. I want to be happy at what I do. This will help me keep working for the objective I have set for my big ambitions and goals tirelessly.
I want to Travel and Eat more
This is a dream for most of us to travel around the world, explore various scenery and enjoy different cuisines and share these experiences with your beloved ones. Well, this is in my bucket list as well.
I want to be what I believe
I can’t tolerate the pressure of always trying to meet the expectations of others which they had from you. Instead, I try to achieve all the expectations I have set for myself that will help me be the person I wanted me to be and definitely not what others expect me to be.
Now tell me, WHAT DO YOU WANT?
